Maidenhead United FC: Community Partner Club of XLFC

Founded in 1870, Maidenhead United FC is one of the oldest football clubs in England. 

 

The club is proud of its community-focused ethos, which has experienced significant progression over recent years across elite & grassroots football and wider community programmes, which now includes partnering with XLFC Weight-loss Football in the creation of a new pathway for players in the region. 

 

Maidenhead United's extensive community programme with "Maidenhead in the Community" and "Maidenhead United FC Community Trust" teams deliver a range of football, wellbeing and education programmes with over 2,500 children, young people and adult participants a week.

Now with the addition of an XLFC team, this offering gives men of all weights, ages and sizes, the opportunity to get fit, get active and lose some weight while playing the beautiful game as  one of the #XLMagpies
